From a quaint city in India, often known for its historical forts and scenic beauties, comes one of the strongest pillars of TJC Group’s technical team. With an undying knack for learning and growing, Ritesh Laddha has proven his skills time and again. He excels not just in the technical landscape but also as a fantastic team member, keeping the environment light and hearty when things get tough. Ritesh truly stands by the quote, “When the time gets tough, the tough get going”. Here’s an excerpt from the engaging chat I had with him. Read on!

Answer: Well, I am from Shivangaon, a small village in Maharashtra’s Amravati district, from where I completed my schooling. Post which, I pursued a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Amravati. For my higher studies, I graduated with a degree in Computer Technology from Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Answer: I began my career as an SAP Support Consultant and soon recognised the value of deepening my technical skills. To further my expertise, I enrolled in a local institute to learn SAP ABAP, after which I transitioned into a Technical Consultant role.  My career took a significant step forward when I joined TJC Group. Initially, I worked as an ABAP Consultant on one of our key products, DVA (Data Volume Analysis). Over time, I expanded my expertise and had the opportunity to work on various projects, including Data Archiving, SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), and System Decommissioning.

Answer: Currently, I am serving as the ILM Lead Consultant at TJC Group, where I continue to contribute to the company’s growth and development in this specialised domain. I work on critical ILM projects while also supporting the BPO team in their regular tasks

Answer: I worked on one of the world’s largest beverage client’s projects for GDPR ILM solution and one more for a Canadian mortgage company on legacy system decommissioning using ILM.

Answer: While I thoroughly enjoy working on the technical aspects and tasks surrounding ILM, I have to admit that my role is a bit challenging as well. Basically, this prevails when working on specific ILM projects as a lot of customisation/workaround is required. However, with the amount of research and feasibility assessment required, I think I gained a lot of knowledge. Hahah.

Answer: Well, yes! While working and completing said projects, the consistent encouragement and positive feedback that I receive from clients, manager, and team really boosts up my morale. Not to forget, I received the Champion Developer award from TJC Group during our July TJC Days edition for outstanding performance in a project.

Ritesh played a very significant role in the report development. He presented the first report to the client thereby giving them comfort and assurance that TJC Group can deliver the reports as committed. This set the tone for the remaining reports. He also developed a proxy report which helped the team immensely throughout the course of the project! It was a super fantastic work by Ritesh. – Vibhor Gupta, Global Delivery Lead.

Answer: TJC Group is, by far, the best organisation I have had the privilege of working with in my career. The company fosters a healthy and supportive work environment that prioritises work-life balance—an essential aspect of any workplace. The management and colleagues are always approachable and supportive, ensuring that employees feel comfortable and well-equipped to excel in their roles. Honestly, I would like to see myself as an expert in SAP ILM and Archiving, leading and managing end-to-end projects.

Answer: Outside of my professional life at TJC Group, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, particularly through travel. I have a strong interest in sports, and I play Cricket every weekend with my residential society group. Additionally, I love trekking and exploring new places, which allows me to connect with nature and discover fresh perspectives. Well, sometimes, from TJC Group, we team up and go for treks and adventures. They are always fun!

Answer: Haha, there are many. But as a Cricket fan, I would love to watch a cricket match at Lords Stadium in London, England.

Answer: To all the readers, I believe that continuous learning and a positive mindset are key to personal and professional growth. Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow; never underestimate the power of persistence. Surround yourself with supportive people, stay focused on your goals, and always strive to do your best. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination!”
