Meet Florent, our Chief Financial Officer
As the Group CFO, Florent makes sure that TJC has all the necessary resources to support its growth. This includes managing all finance-related topics (accounting, treasury & cash, budgeting, forecasting, …), HR and recruitment, tax and legal matters, internal IT (processes, infrastructures, security, …) and administrative processes. All these skills put together were essential to navigate safely the Covid-19 situation in 2020 and 2021.
A strong team player, Florent is supporting other divisions in the company with his “Swiss army knife” skills which have proven useful to support Sales & Marketing or technical teams. As an utter Excel master, Florent is capable of doing almost everything with it and has become the official hotline for his colleagues.
Before he joined TJC in 2017, Florent worked for Pernod Ricard, the world’s second-largest wine and spirits seller, where he had several finance-related positions firstly at Pernod Ricard Korea in Seoul and then at Pernod Ricard Headquarters in Paris. He is delighted to have switched from a large to a smaller company, where he can gain experience in many different areas and his job role offers a broader scope and greater responsibility.

He owns a Master in Management, Finance specialization, from HEC Paris. On a personal level, Florent loves jazz improvisation on the piano and is well-versed in jazz harmony. He is fascinated by Bill Evans’ music (American jazz pianist, 1929-1980). He enjoys reading and learning about Economics, financial markets (especially stocks), cryptocurrencies, behavioural finance and personal finance.
